Minutes


Call to order –President Margie Sauls called the meeting to order at 2:00 P.M


Introduction of Guest Speaker - Due to the cancellation of our scheduled speaker due to a family illness, author GinaMaria Jerome spoke in her place. Her topic was “Creative Structure: An Innovative Approach to Writing.

GinaMaria’s focus was on how to pull writing projects together and how to get it done. She distributed a handout and discussed the PACT method:

  1. Purpose – know your outcome

  2. Action- list all that needs to be done

  3. Commitment – focus on your outcome

  4. Timeline – be realistic


She stated “In every PACT is the purpose to act.”

Critique Session:

One chapter was critiqued that was submitted by a visitor to the group.
