NFW Minutes (Revised)

February 11, 2012

Attendees:  Margie Sauls, Kathy Marsh, Howard Denson, John Sullivan, Joyce Davidson, Richard Levine, Nelson Rogers, Lee Lucente and Suzanne Theriault

Meeting called to order at 2:05 p.m.

In the absence of President Stewart Neal, Treasurer Howard Denson asked attendees to provide information on the sign-in sheet. He then reported $427.39 in the checking account and $1909.88 in savings.

Howard announced that due to a family illness, Stewart would need to resign as President and asked the members to vote on a new slate of officers for 2012.  The following were nominated and approved by a voice vote:

Howard Denson, President

Joyce Davidson, Vice President

Kathy Marsh, Secretary,

Richie Levine, Treasurer

Howard requested that members’ contact information be updated on the website.  Richie will provide a link for members to go in and update their information.

Introductions: Members and guest introduced themselves and shared writing projects on which they were currently working.

New Business:

 It was voted and approved by the group that new Treasurer Richard Levine be granted access to NFW accounts in order to handle the financial business of the group.


A chapter from a memoir and a novel was submitted to be critiqued.
