Joyce Davidson announced that North Florida Writers won 1^st Place in the Anthology

Portion at POW’s 2006 awards. She presented the 1^st place medal to NFW president, Richard Levine.

Joel Young won 1^st Place in poetry at POW’s 2006 awards for a single poem.

Carrol offered to collect poems for NFW’s future Poetry at 2 anthology. Members may begin sending them to her. Discussion was held about including other Northeast Florida writers in the anthology.

Richard suggested that if a writer wants his or her work read aloud by a specific member during our critiquing session, to hand it to that person upon arrival. Only the writer and the reader would know the author.

Critiquing

One novel chapter and one screenplay were critiqued.
